Swiss Poster Award 2018: Call for Entries
The competition for the "Swiss Poster Award" has opened: the expert jury is looking for the most outstanding Out of Home creations. New members of the jury are Yvan Piccinno (Managing Director Y&R Group Switzerland) and illustrator Paula Troxler (PANK). Agencies, creatives and companies still have until 30th November 2018 to submit their entries for the competition. The award, which is coveted in the Swiss communications industry, is conferred in six categories. An opening of the "Out of Home Innovations" category now allows all outdoor advertising formats and technologies to be admitted.
The Swiss Poster Award is the competition for analogue, digital and innovative outdoor advertising in Switzerland. It honours outstanding creative work, emphasises the value of design and underlines the importance of the poster in the context of an intermedia comparison. The expert jury consists of 21 well-known members from the fields of advertising, culture and design. Evaluation focuses on new ideas and the striking implementation of the advertising message. Marks are also earned for aspects such as communicative sustainability and graphic craftsmanship.
Countdown to the participation deadline
Agencies, creatives and companies still have until 30th November 2018 to submit their own work for the competition. Any creations that were produced for Switzerland and on display in public spaces during 2018 are eligible for entry. The competition is free to enter, which can be done online at www.swissposteraward.ch.
Six categories and one overall win
The Swiss outdoor advertising industry awards are defined in six categories. The awards are conferred accordingly in gold, silver and bronze. The centrepiece is the "Poster of the Year" award for an overall win across all categories. The "Poster Innovations" category was opened and is now called "Out of Home Innovations", meaning that all formats, technologies and implementations in the field of commercial outdoor advertising can now be submitted. This allows the competition to include a broader range of innovations and take account of the full spectrum of Out of Home media.

2. “Commercial Local and Regional”

3. “Public Service”
