APG|SGA is rolling out a new digital City ePanel network on public land in the city of Biel/Bienne
APG|SGA will launch a new digital network on public land in the city of Biel/Bienne in October 2016, when eight new digital City ePanels (72-inch) will go into operation at prime locations in the centre of Switzerland's tenth-largest city. These panels will provide great opportunities for contact, and – through the option of animation – will literally add action to the city’s previously analogue poster offer.
In October 2016, APG|SGA will begin the conversion of eight of its city maps to state-of-the-art digital advertising media. The new digital screens will be located at the city's busiest hotspots, such as the Bahnhofplatz, the Zentralplatz or along Bahnhofstrasse. «The City ePanels in Biel/Bienne enable us to mark a further milestone in our aim of offering our customers and partners in Switzerland’s major cities a homogeneous digital offer in the best locations», says Beat Holenstein, Head of Partner and Product Management. The City ePanels enhance APG|SGA’s exclusive range of posters in Biel/Bienne: at the conclusion of a very competitive procedure in May 2016, the city had already awarded the complete marketing rights for all 680 pasted and backlit poster spaces to APG|SGA for the long term.
Moving images for a dynamic city centre
The new City ePanel network offers advertising customers individual and flexible booking options, including one-day displays, and is suitable for still and moving images as well as simple animations. The ePanels can be booked now, and early birds will benefit from an attractive introductory offer. Screening is set to begin on 31 October 2016 (week 44). Every day, each of 6 customers can display a 10-second spot as part of a 60-second loop. The range offers a new communication medium in busy public spaces, and is the ideal enhancement to moving image campaigns (regional TV and online) in order to reach mobile target groups.
APG|SGA is continuously expanding its digital offer for cities, thus providing proof of its innovative power and leading position in the digital out-of-home advertising segment. With ten digital screens in Winterthur, nine in Zurich and eight in Biel/Bienne, as of autumn 2016 APG|SGA will have a total of 27 City ePanels across Switzerland.
