APG|SGA AG reduces senior management from eight to six members
As part of its efforts to focus on the core market of Switzerland and its activities in Serbia, and thus complete the restructuring of its international portfolio, APG|SGA AG has modified its management structure. On 1 September 2014, the company's senior management was reduced from eight to six members.
Since 1 September 2014, APG|SGA AG's senior management has consisted of the following members: Markus Ehrle (CEO), Beat Hermann (CFO), Beat Holenstein (Partner & Product Management), Daniel Strobel (Advertising Market and Segment Companies), Christian Gotter (Logistics) and Marcel Seiler (Human Resources). Thomas Rainer, previously Head of International Markets, stood down from senior management as of 1 September 2014. Beat Hermann assumed overall responsibility for international activities. Thomas Rainer will continue to provide parttime support for ongoing implementation tasks and for the management of the Alma Quattro subsidiary in Serbia. However, as planned, he will primarily concentrate on his management tasks in the Central Europe, Eastern Europe & Central Asia region at JCDecaux SA. The Board of Directors and the management board would like to thank Thomas Rainer for his great commitment during the successful restructuring of APG|SGA AG's international business.
The position of Head of Marketing & Business Development held by Markus Ehrle will not be refilled. A seamless transition has been underway since 1 June 2014, with duties being distributed within senior management. Beat Holenstein has assumed responsibility for market research, product development and yield management, while Daniel Strobel is managing the projects in the area of innovation. Markus Ehrle will remain directly responsible for the Communications department and for business development tasks.
