Olivier Chabanel to replace Bernard Develey

Olivier Chabanel has been chosen by the Management Board of APG to take over as Head of Acquisition – Western Region from 1 February 2010. Mr Chabanel has previous management consultancy experience from positions at both the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and Pricewater-houseCoopers SA; most recently, he was responsible for customer solutions in renewable energies at Services Industriels de Genève (SIG).

In selecting the 38 year old APG has recruited an experienced professional to take over from Bernard Develey. Mr Chabanel holds various qualifications including a degree in economics and political science and a master's in European and international politics.

The Management Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Bernard Develey for his many years of extraordinary commitment to APG. The successful positioning and development of the company in French-speaking Switzerland is largely thanks to him. Mr Develey will continue to make his wealth of knowledge available to the company, chiefly on special projects in the cities of Lausanne and Geneva.
