APG to be reorganized for the start of 2009
As part of the succession planning process instigated by the Management Board, APG (Allgemeine Plakatgesellschaft) has decided to make internal structural changes. From 1 January 2009, the company will operate in three business units: «Sales», «Concessions and Marketing» and «Logistics.»
From 1 January 2009, APG, a subsidiary of Affichage Holding’ is to be reorganized. As part of the planning procedure for Ivan Schultheiss to replace Christian Kauter as Managing Director, the Management Board has decided to change the structures within the company. APG will be restructured into three business units:
- «Sales» to be managed by Ivan Schultheiss
- «Concessions and Marketing» under the leadership of Beat Holenstein
- «Logistics» with Walter R. Oeschger as head of the business unit
Beat Holenstein will become Deputy Managing Director from this point.
«We are convinced that these structural changes will equip us to meet market requirements even more closely in future. We are also being relieved of certain responsibilities by the Group parent company, Affichage Holding,» said new Managing Director, Ivan Schultheiss. «APG hopes that these changes will enable even closer collaboration with its sister companies and profit centers in future, and strengthen the company's position as the market leader for outdoor advertising in Switzerland,» continued Mr Schultheiss.
As part of this reorganization, long-serving members of the Management Board Claude Miffon (Purchasing) and Roger Möschler (Marketing) will be leaving APG. They will continue in other equivalent positions within the Affichage Group.
